Picking the Best Potential Tottenham Lineup to Face Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday

Tottenham will head to the Molineux Stadium on Saturday evening with the hopes of returning to the Premier League winners board against Wolves.

Spurs fell to defeat against Manchester City last time out and will hope to take advantage of their  rivals clash earlier in the day to make up ground towards the top of the table.

Here is Tottenham’s potential starting XI for the clash.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) – Is currently lacking confidence, but the club skipper is unlikely to be overlook for this one.

Kieran Trippier (RB) – Was far from his best against City and was culpable of being at fault for the goal which subjected his side to defeat at Wembley – needs to respond.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) – Is making the most of his opportunity thus far following the long-term injury sustained by Jan Vertonghen.

Toby Alderweireld (CB) – Was poor against PSV and again struggled against City, so he needs to bounce back.

Ben Davies (LB) – Yet to rediscover his blistering form from last term, but with Danny Rose still unavailable he will keep his place in the side.

2. Midfielders

Eric Dier (DM) – Preferred over Mousa Dembélé and will give license for Harry Winks to drive forward.

Harry Winks (DM) – Took the game by the horns during his cameo on Monday and rightfully deserves his place back in the starting lineup.

Dele Alli  (CAM) – Could return to the fold after his stint out of the side through injury, and Spurs will hope he can make an instant impact.

Lucas Moura (RM) – The Brazilian has struggled to replicate his early season form but will likely keep his spot.

Erik Lamela (LM) – Has been Tottenham’s brightest spark of late and will be ruing his late miss against City.

3. Forwards

Harry Kane (ST) – The England skipper has struggled to make his presence felt throughout the season thus far – although his goal tally is still respectable.

Kane appears off the pace and had a number of chances to equalise for Spurs against City on Monday only for his first touch to let him down.

However, he could grow in influence as Alli and Christian Eriksen return to the fold.
