One thing that no major sporting event can do without is the support and enthusiasm of volunteers. This couldn’t have been more true during the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018, when the dedication of the volunteers not only enabled the teams to perform, it made the whole tournament come to life for the fans.
But volunteering does not have to be a completely selfless act, as the above video shows, bringing together a family of people who get to experience a World Cup in a fashion so few get to. And you never who you might bump into, with those in Vannes getting a visit from former Ghana men’s star Michael Essien.
Do you Dare to Shine as a volunteer at France 2019? If so, there’s still time to apply! The deadline for applications is December, so don’t delay and you could be part of the FIFA Women’s World Cup between 7 June and 7 July 2019!
And don’t forget, you can guarantee your seat in the stands now, with stadium package tickets already on sale!
