Tottenham Hotspur fans are used to seeing their kits elsewhere in the world before they are released in the UK and that could be the case once again.
There are always counterfeit versions of Premier League shirts floating around foreign markets ahead of official kit launches, some of them clearly cheaply created and bearing little resemblance to the eventual official product.
Since Spurs signed their bumper kit deal with Nike last year there appears to have been an increase in versions of the new Tottenham kit arriving in the US and Asian markets.
As the date approaches for the launch, some versions appear on sale in stores which end up being the real deal put on display in other territories ahead of the UK release.
With the club usually launching their new kits in early July, Tottenham fan Balraj Ramanathan sent football.london the images below of what is being sold in Thailand as the new Tottenham home shirt and a pre-match warm-up training top.
The word ‘Spurs’ being stitched upside down on the collar of the home shirt perhaps suggests it’s not an official product but could be close the final version.
Tottenham supporters will likely find out early next month before the players return to pre-season training whether the shirts are the real deal or not.
