Marcos Alonso, Antonio Rudiger, Willian – Predicted Chelsea team to face Wolverhampton Wanderers

The international break is finally over and it means Chelsea’s players will be heading back to Cobham in preparation for the Premier League’s return.

The Blues travel to Molineux on Saturday to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, looking to improve on their record of just one win from the first four matches of the campaign.

Frank Lampard’s side are coming off the back of a disappointing draw with Sheffield United in their last outing and will be wanting to get back on track.

The Blues have struggled with injuries at the beginning of the campaign, and another was added to the list when Emerson Palmieri hobbled off while playing for Italy.

That means Marcos Alonso could get his chance to get his first Premier League start of the season under Lampard.

The other issue might be Christian Pulisic, who was on international duty with USA and could be rested with the Champions League kicking off on Tuesday night.

That means that Willian could come in for his first start of the campaign, and will have to be a key player for the Blues if they are to get three points.

Lampard is expecting to have Antonio Rudiger back in action after his long-term knee injury and could come straight into the starting XI.

N’Golo Kante should be back in action as well, having been rested over the international break, potentially partnering Jorginho with Mateo Kovacic also struggling with an injury.

Tammy Abraham is also set to lead the line once again, looking to build on his four goals in the previous two matches up top.
